The mountain landscape is the true gem of our school. to move from class to class, we use an outside corridor. In the courtyard we eat lunch and hold classes; the view is truly breathtaking (and occasionally the elk visit the meadow around the school)! Students enjoy mountain life on weekends which last a bit longer at MVHS. Most weeks we attend school Tuesday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
Established in 2009, the National Veterans Wellness and Healing Center was designed to assist with the healing of our Nations Veterans and their partners who are struggling with Post Traumatic Stress, Military Sexual Trauma, and Moral Wounding.
The natural setting of northeastern New Mexico is the perfect location to bring participants to experience optimal healing. The Veterans and their partners will encounter a week of camaraderie with their brothers and sisters, as well as a staff of extraordinary therapists and alternative therapy practitioners. These retreats are only possible with the help from our generous donors and grant funding.
